Abbasubi makes children's music in Spanish for families to dance, sing, and be silly together. We have a CD, El Baile del Sombrero, and we perform shows at libraries, parks and birthday parties in and around our home in Brooklyn, NY.

We are going to be a part of a very special event at 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 10th in Fort Greene Brooklyn called World Brooklyn: Tips To Raising A Bilingual Child. The event will be fun for everyone in the family. There will be a panel of speakers, fun activities for kids, people to speak with from most of the bilingual programs in Brooklyn and demos of music classes in Spanish, French and Mandarin. If you're interested in trying to raise your children bilingually or are interested in exposing them to another language, bring the whole family for a fun afternoon.
For more details and to register, go to the website worldbrooklynkids.eventbrite.com. Please stop by our table and say hello!
We've started getting our first reviews of El Baile del Sombrero in the blogosphere. The very first was on Spanglish Baby Finds, then Bilingual Fun, Wanna Jugar with Migo, y Mama Latina Tips. They are all really great blogs, and if you speak Spanish and have kids you should definitely check them out. We're really happy to have gotten such postive feedback from this group of excellent bilingual blog site and we really appreciate their support.
We also did an interview in an Argentina blog called Chicos Abordo. It's a very active blog and Twitter site with information about kids and family in and outside of Argentina.
Now we have our own You Tube channel at youtube.com/abbasubi, where we put a whole bunch of new videos from our show in Luján, Argentina. It was an unforgettable show at a kindergarten called El Negrito Manuel for Family Day with really wonderful people and incredible kids.
